This second class in an 8-part brake training series covers
complete brake inspection procedures.

Taking we were left off with Module #1, Module #2 of the Part Smart Brake Training Series will focus on why it is essential to perform a complete and thorough inspection of the entire Brake System before providing the customer with repair suggestions and repair estimates 

 Topics covered will include:

• A step-by-step guide on how to perform a complete Brake System Inspection
• Brake Warning Light Diagnosis, Underhood Brake Components Inspection, and Undercar Brake Components Inspection 
• Brake System Service Specifications, critical measurements, and testing procedures
• Identifying actual and potential causes of Brake System issues during the Inspection
  
  

Module 2 will lead into Module 3, where we will look at helping the customer select the best Friction Material for their vehicle and their driving conditions.

Stay tuned for announcements on additional modules in this series which will be presented monthly. Other modules will focus on selecting correct friction materials, service procedures for disc, drum, and parking brakes, flushing and bleeding, and bedding in new brakes.
